Privacy Policy

PT Tracker (the mobile apps for Android and iOS and the website at www.pt-tracker.et) is operated by Sweaven Solutions PLC (“we”, “us”). PT Tracker connects personal trainers with their clients: trainers build workout and meal plans, clients log their training, meals and bodyweight, and clients pay their trainer through the app. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information. Your name, email address, account type (client or trainer), an optional profile photo, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name and email address from that provider; we never see your Google or Apple password.

Client fitness information. Date of birth, height, fitness goals, bodyweight entries, the workouts and sets you log (exercises, weights, reps, effort, duration), cardio sessions (duration and distance you enter), and the meals you mark as eaten. PT Tracker does not connect to Apple Health, Health Connect or any wearable.

Trainer information. Bio, years of experience, specialisations, certifications and any certificate files you upload, your monthly rate, and the telebirr phone number and account name your earnings are paid out to.

Payment information. Records of each payment: amount, fees, status, dates and the payment provider’s reference. Payments are processed by Chapa; your card, bank or mobile-money details are entered with Chapa and are not stored by us.

Content you create. Workout and meal plans, custom exercises and images, and the in-app notifications between trainers and clients (such as requests, plan assignments and payments).

Technical information. Sign-in tokens and a device label for each device you sign in on, so you can stay signed in and sign out remotely. We do not use advertising identifiers, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not collect your location or contacts.

How we use it

• To run the service: show your trainer your logged workouts, meals and progress, and show you the plans your trainer assigns.
• To take payments from clients and pay trainers their share.
• To send account emails such as password resets and invitations, and in-app notifications.
• To review trainer applications and keep the platform safe.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not show ads.

Who we share it with

• Your trainer or clients. A client’s profile, logs and progress are visible to the trainer they are linked to. A trainer’s public profile (name, photo, bio, certifications, rate) is visible to clients.
• Service providers who process data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting and file storage), our cloud database provider, Resend (email delivery), Chapa (payments and telebirr payouts), and Google and Apple (sign-in).
• Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and sign-in tokens on your phone are kept in the device’s secure storage.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time from your profile in the app or on the website, or by emailing us — see how to delete your account. Deleting your account removes your profile and personal data. If your account has payment records, those records are kept with your name and contact details removed, because the other party and we need them for accounting and legal obligations.

Children

PT Tracker is only for people aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can view and update most of your information in the app, and ask us for a copy of your data or to correct or delete it by emailing sweavensolutions@gmail.com.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
